Of course we’re happy to give a few tips as well. This also gives you an impression of where you might end up when booking a srprs.road trip!
York
York has more attractions per square mile than any other UK city, so there’s definitely plenty to see and do here! The city boasts the country’s longest circuit of medieval city walls, and also the largest medieval church in England. Also be sure to visit The Shambles, a street of overhanging, timber-framed buildings dating back to the 14th century. Because the city is not too big, it’s easy to explore York on foot. Top it off with lots of restaurants and pubs and you know that York is the perfect place for a city break.
Liverpool
Grand architecture, a lively waterfront and a buzzing arts and culture scene; Liverpool really has it all! This city - which is the home of The Beatles - is definitely worth a visit. There are plenty of sights, attractions and museums, and to top it off there is also a great culinary scene!
Edinburgh
Edinburgh can easily be described as ‘breathtaking’. Beautiful architecture, narrow and cobbled streets and an imposing castle; this city is truly unique. Edinburgh offers a wide variety of attractions, including museums, most of which are free to visit. When the night falls, the city reveals its mysterious side. And not only that: it’s also the perfect time to enjoy a fine Scottish whisky in one of the many pubs!
