Travelling in times of corona
In times of COVID, taking a flight trip takes a bit more work than usual. But don’t worry, it’s not that bad! We’re happy to help you through it all. This is what a srprs.flight trip currently looks like:
#1 You booked a srprs.trip!
Yay! Your srprs.journey starts right this moment. You can now sit back and relax, but behind the scenes, we will get to work. We’ll check all travel restrictions and pick a destination for you. We’ll also find out if you need to fill out a travel form. We’ll get back to that in a moment.
#2 Important information
Well in advance, you’ll get an email with all the information you need: what time you have to be at the airport, what dimensions your hand luggage can be and of course the weather forecast for your destination. Now is the time to start packing!
#3 The reveal
This is THE moment you have been waiting for. Finally you’re gonna find out where you’re going! The reveal takes place at the airport. Arriving at the airport at the time specified by us, will give you plenty of time to reveal your destination, clear customs and complete the necessary paperwork. For many destinations, you have to fill out a travel form. If this is the case for your destination as well, you will, after the reveal, receive an email from us with an attachment. In this attachment you will find all the information, including a link to the travel form for your destination, so you can fill it out right away. So be sure to check your email carefully after revealing your destination. If you don’t fill out the form, you’ll risk a fine!
#4 Ready for take-off
You have completed your travel form (if necessary) and you have your COVID pass, proof of identity and face mask at hand. You’re all set to go! We recommend you bring some FFP2/N95 face masks with you, because those are mandatory at more and more destinations. Also airlines can demand you wear a mask like that. And before you know it, you have arrived at your destination (unk)known!
#5 Enjoy!
After you have arrived safely at your destination, it’s time for the best thing in the world: exploring a city without any expectations! Do you prefer a little bit of guidance? Don’t worry, we’ve already listed some tips and hotspots for your destination and emailed them to you. Also don’t forget to check the corona restrictions at your country of destination. The most up to date information can be found on the website of the UK government.
#6 Back home
All good things come to an end, and so does your srprs.trip. Boo! Be sure to check the rules on returning to the UK, and to fill out the passenger locator form before your departure.
